vocal coach at MM Academy of La Monnaie Opera in Brussels, Belgium, Angélique Noldus.

If the masterclass is cancelled due to the COVID-19 circumstances or by initiative of organizers (Triomphe de l’Art, asbl), the full refund is due to be paid within 14 days of cancellation in these circumstances.

Every active student will have 45 minutes lesson per day with Angélique and a pianist Noémi Biro. This masterclass is private. The number of places is limited!

We are very happy to present Angélique Noldus

After her studies in translation at the I.S.T.I. (Institut supérieur de traducteurs et interprètes/Brussels), Belgian mezzo-soprano Angélique Noldus studied at the Royal Conservatories of Liège and Brussels, followed masterclasses at the Opera Studio La Monnaie and became a member of the Opera Studio Nederland.

She enjoys an international career in a wide repertoire ranging from the baroque to contemporary music and appears in many of the world’s leading opera and concert venues including the Opera Paris Bastille, the Teatro Real Madrid, the Semperoper Dresden, the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, the BAM New York, the Metropolitan Opera, the Dutch National Opera, the Opera Lyon, the Opéra National du Rhin, the Cité de la Musique, the Palau Musica Catalana, the Theater an der Wien, with conductors such as Louis Langrée, Michel Plasson, Christophe Rousset, René Jacobs, Leonardo Alarcon, Hartmut Haenchen, Alain Altinoglu, Patrick Davin, Antonello Manacorda, Vincent Dumestre, Laurence Equilbey and directors such as Olivier Py, Pierre Audi, Robert Carsen, Laurent Pelly, André Engel, Thomas Jolly, Romeo Castellucci.

Ms Noldus sings Der Komponist (Ariadne auf Naxos/Strauss), Janacek’s Fox (Cunning little Vixen) and Krista (Vec Makropulos), Mozart’s Cherubino (Nozze di Figaro), Dritte Dame (Zauberflöte), Annio (Clemenza di Tito), Gounod’s Siebel (Faust) and Stephano (Roméo et Juliette), Offenbach’s Fantasio (Fantasio) and Nicklausse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Meg Page (Falstaff/Verdi), Mitrena (Motezuma/Vivaldi), Dorothée (Cendrillon/ Massenet), Mélisse/Charite (Cadmus et Herminone/Lully).

Her concert performances include Mozart’s Requiem, Krönungsmesse and Vesperae solennes de Confessore, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle and Stabat Mater, Brahms’ Liebeslieder und Neue Liebeslieder, Mendelssohn’s Sommernachtstraum, Berlioz’ L’Enfance du Christ, Haydn’s Missa in tempore belli and Scena di Berenice.

Among her recent engagements : Tisbe (Cenerentola/Rossini), Zweite Dame (Zauberflöte), Marthe (Faust), Geneviève (Pelléas et Mélisande/Constant), Teresa (Sonnambula), Mallika (Lakmé).

Angélique Noldus recorded Bradamante (Alcina/Händel), Alinda/Amore (Giasone/Cavalli), Blumenmädchen (Parsifal/Wagner), Thea (Frühlings Erwachen/Mernier), Geneviève (Pelléas et Mélisande/Constant) and Mozart’s Requiem (Festival Ambronay).

Parallel to her career, she enjoys teaching and collaborates with the MM Academy of La Monnaie in Brussels, coaching young singers.
